Dugout Club / Coach’s Meeting – TBD, Fixed Forum

New Player / Parent Meeting (MANDATORY PRIOR TO TRYOUTS) – February 28th, 6:30 PM, BVSW Fixed Forum

Tryouts – March 3rd-5th after school starting at 3:15. (March 6th will be our meeting day)

 

In order to tryout for the 2025 Southwest Baseball Program, you must do the following things:

  • Fill out the google form for player information and player sizing found here – CLICK HERE FOR LINK.
  • Have the participation packet completed in the Athletics/Activities office
  • Have a physical on file in the Athletics/Activities Office.

 

What players will need to purchase on their own for the season:

  • PLASTIC/MOLDED CLEATS – With the addition of the new synthetic turf, and in order to maintain the warranty on the field, we will not be allowed to wear metal spikes this year. We can only wear metals on natural surface fields.
  • White Baseball Pants | No piping (Plain White)
  • White Spikes (Any brand)
  • Rawlings DK Green Matte Helmet (Sporting Goods Stores)
  • Dugout Water Bottle

 

Parent Only Meeting – March 10th, 6:30 pm, BVSW Commons or Fixed Forum

Green/Black Scrimmage – March 12th & 13th [We expect our players to be there for practice on March 13th.]

Spring Break Schedule – 

  • V/JV will have 3/14-3/18 off from official practice. We will still hold workouts for those that do not leave town during this time in order to stay in shape for the upcoming early season games.
  • C/D will have 3/14-3/20 off from official organized activities.

Senior Day is May 12th vs Rockhurst.

Post-season Grill Out – TBD, BVSW Baseball Field / Concession Stand
